New Delhi: Bhutan's Prime Minister, Shering Tobgay, participated in the School of Ultimate Leadership Conclave held in Delhi. During his speech, he emphasized the strong spiritual bond between India and Bhutan. He described Indian Prime Minister Modi as a brother and teacher, praising his intelligence, courage, and compassion. He acknowledged that within just ten years, Modi has guided India onto the path of progress.

Under Modi's leadership, India is transforming into a developed nation. Initiatives like Make in India, Digital India, and Swachh Bharat are gifts given to India by Modi. Tobgay remarked that leadership is not about titles and positions but about vision, courage, and the ability to inspire change. "Without any doubt, I see Modi as a brother. He has always stood behind me, guiding me," he said. He added that, under Modi's leadership, millions of people in India have come out of poverty, and the Indian economy has reached new heights.

Tobgay also mentioned that Bhutan has received strong support and philanthropy from the Indian people. He defined leadership as transformation and the ability to guide society towards a happy, prosperous, and peaceful future. He invited Indians to visit the Gelifu Mindfulness City project in Bhutan. Tobgay expressed his desire for Modi’s personal guidance in the transformation of public service in Bhutan. He ended his speech with a "Jai Hind." After the speech, Prime Minister Modi warmly embraced Tobgay and referred to him as his brother.
