Amaravati: Key changes are taking place in AP Intermediate education. From the 2025-26 academic year, the government has decided to implement the NCERT syllabus and CBSE methodologies in government junior colleges. The Education Department has decided to begin second-year classes from April 1st. Classes related to academic and competitive exams will be conducted until April 22nd. Classes will be held until the 22nd for academic and competitive exams. Intermediate classes will begin from April 1st, with holidays reduced.

Intermediate classes will begin from April 1st. In the first 23 days, about 15% of the syllabus will be completed. Admissions for the first year will start from April 5th. Holidays will be given from April 23rd to June 1st. In the past, holidays were given immediately after the exams, but now they will be reduced. About 15% of the syllabus will be completed in the first 23 days, followed by summer holidays. The state government has implemented these changes based on the report from committees it appointed, which visited 12 states to evaluate possible changes and how they should be implemented.

The hall tickets for the Intermediate exams in the state have been released. The Intermediate First Year exams will be held from March 1st to 19th, and the Second Year exams will take place from the 3rd to the 20th. The exams will be conducted every day from 9 AM to 12 PM. Intermediate hall tickets are now available through WhatsApp governance.
